“I had my eyelids raised and then had excess skin removed from my lids. The goal was to restore my range of sight and that has been accomplished. “I can’t say enough wonderful things about my eyelid surgery at Frantz eye care. Dr Christine Bokman is an exceptional surgeon and she has a pleasant and professional staff that made my care a great experience. I was honestly nervous about what needed to be done and concerned about recovery. My eye lids no longer block my vision, and the sutures were so perfect I had no pain and limited swelling. Icing for 4-6 days solved any swelling and I was 90% healed by day 7. My wife had the same surgery at a different eye care center, and she was so impressed by the work performed by Dr Bokman and Frantz for my surgery. Dr Bokman is a true surgical star.”

“I saw Dr. Bokman for my annual eye exam, and she was thorough, efficient and informative. Frantz is a very busy practice, with multiple physicians and technicians moving patients between exam and procedure rooms. I arrived on time for my appointment and was quickly taken in for a refractive exam and measurements, but then had to wait an hour before seeing her. I finally poked my head out of the exam room and flagged someone down, who found Dr. Bokman. Unlike many physicians who would have ignored my long wait, she recognized that my time, as hers, is valuable. She apologized, offering to bring in the manager, and explained that she had been told that I had left the building. Frankly, I should’ve asked for her quite a bit earlier, so much of the fault was my own. Dr. Bokman’s willingness to proactively apologize to make the situation better was very much appreciated. So, aside from being a capable and knowledgeable physician, she is a compassionate and empathetic professional.”
